BSO will have to pay for all these unjustly terminated employees legal fees for BOTH sides, all back pay with interest and all the overtime paid to cover their positions. It WILL cost BSO directly millions of dollars that could be better utilized. At this point, would be cheaper if BSO offered to pay all these employees their base salary just to stay home to end these long costly baseless legal battles.

Stupid is as stupid does
Of course it would be cheaper but that would be the smart thing to do. There’s a difference between being strong and being plain stupid and making yourself look even worse. We’ve crossed way over that line. BSO needs to stop unlawfully Ans unjustly firing and punishing their employees. The sheriff doesn’t understand labor law. You have to follow past precedent. If you don’t follow it you will get destroyed in the courts and you will end up paying ten times what it would have cost you to follow the law. Not respecting the law is what has gotten this administration into so much trouble. It doesn’t help when you have detectives doing stupid sh!t like illegal searches and illegal arrests without probable cause. IA better get their sh!t together.

They can’t help themselves they don’t know how to follow the law they are supposed to enforce. Illegal arrests of employees ans illegal terminations next in the agenda. They pay out a few more if these multi million dollar lawsuits trust me they’re going to care. That’s starts to sting after awhile. And it looks like they will be paying a lot more of them because of unlawful terminations and discipline and illegal conduct in their investigation tactics in dealing with employees in the near future.

Bso
Bso is sinking their own ship because they let idiot detectives violate other employees rights. The place is a total sh!t show.
