Pinellas County Sheriff, City of St Pete have take home cars perhaps you can ask the Sheriff and Chief of those Agencies for cars since the Chief of the University of South Florida St Petersburg Police Department has decided that they are not necessary for members of his Agency.

Former Chief Longo at USF Tampa instituted the take home program years ago and it remains today.

USF Tampa has numerous officer openings, if you apply and meet the requirements you will be assigned a take home car. There are also openings in your neighboring agencies that will give you the same.

The take home issue has been discussed over and over here and each time you have been directed to your Chief, but of course the same 2 or 3 people ignore the facts and continue to go after a totally separate Police Department's membership.
