What if you’ve already had Covid and have a positive test for Covid antibodies? Are you covered by the office then because isn’t that virtually the same thing? It’s probably better actually, since it’s antibodies from the whole virus. In that case, we should be covered if this is really about Covid antibodies and not just another ploy to F the deputy or to screw us out of money and vacation time.

What about if you got COVID before the vaccination was made available? So let’s ad a question, why weren’t patrol deputies provided appropriate protection before the vaccination was made available, especially for death investigations? Why didn’t HCSO create a special team with the appropriate protection to respond to death investigations? How can HCSO continue to dispatch deputies to death investigations without appropriate protection when the insurance carrier denies coverage for not being able to undeniably prove the source of the infection? Isn’t that somewhat impossible with the symptoms being delayed for a period of time up to two weeks? It’s kind of like screwing a hooker on Dale Mabry without a condom and wondering where you got the std. it isn’t like Carver didn’t go to a call where the deceased died from covid and their entirely infected family was on scene.
