Seeing as how the great big pear okayed a full time deputy (albeit a Court Processing "Deputy") to become a part-time deputy, when do we see a mass exodus from the jail and patrol?

Curious minds want to know.

Anyone familiar with the staffing shortage should know but probably do not realize the severity of the situation. There is nobody going around to ask questions and project how many will be leaving in order to determine how many replacements will be needed. To make matters worse the jail has developed a very bad reputation which keeps qualified applicants away.

It is time for the Pear to hold the command staff accountable for the staffing shortage. That's how it would work in a normal LEO agency. But the problem is that the Pear's own micromanagement has caused them to kick related decisions back to him meaning that the Pear is now directly responsible for the staffing shortages.

Since the Pear doesn't give a rat's azz about the deputies, it is likely that part time is on the table out of desperation. It will be entertaining to see the Pear twist in the wind due to the staffing shortage cause by his own incompetence.

Is this all over a part timer thinking a part time position should be given to them, not based on qualifications but simply on their part time status. Plus who cares.

What staffing shortage are you talking about? Jail or Patrol? Patrol is not short.

Yep, just look at the part time cpo's,,all in the family photo,must be nice, good use of tax money, yet they cry the money blues when you ask for needed equipment
