    "Chief Acevado,

The executive board had approved funds to have the North Station at 1000 NW 62nd St. tested for mold. These actions were taken due to several complaints by members that work out of this location and have suffered from respiratory issues stemming from possible mold exposure.

The union has filed an OSHA complaint to have OSHA come and investigate, but we received little to no response from OSHA due to a back log they have from Covid 19, thus we contacted our own survey company to check the station, because our members could be exposed to hazardous containments.

On June 30th, 2021, The FOP paid Preemptive Strike Environmental Inspections LLC to do an inspection of the North Station. The company checked 3 areas that had been reported to have occupant complaints, the Sergeant’s Office, DUI Room (because BTO Machines will not calibrate), and the Men’s Locker room. These areas were checked to identify the presence or absence of visible mold and mold in the air. Here are the results of their findings:

Visual Inspection: Evidence of moisture damage and fungal growth to building materials were noted at the following subject areas:

Don’t think the FOP and the chief or City hall are going to be holding hands any time soon. Felix and Tommy haven’t woke the sleeping giant they done kicked him the azz and they ain’t happy.

Keep waiting on that update! The north station major doesn't give a crap about some mold and the health risk it can cause. He's too busy pushing that stupid vaccine! Chief Acevedo, we need some real leadership at the North Station.
