Once the PBA slugs get all the photo ops they need (remember the elections are almost upon us although the PBA has kept it a secret) they will leave. That truck will not be there the entire night even though our officers will be. It’s smoke and mirrors.
But, I am glad they were shamed into doing it. Better late than never. Firefighters had their union on scene almost immediately. FOP was on scene almost immediately. PBA was at a cigar event as we sweated our sacks off. Drinking and smoking in AC while we were out here on the bowls of hell.
