Probably BSing over a National TV Network about much to do about nothing, while urban shooters and killers engage in open warfare with the City of Miami.

Acevedo is a clown; he does not have a deterring plan, just as he did not have one in Houston, and why Houston Mayor, for intents and purposes, fire him by not renewing his contract.

Press conferences, walking in the rain with an entourage of inept elected officials, appointed bureaucrats, and their toady entourage. Does it provide good optics? Yes, but it does nothing to identify, apprehend and prosecute killers and shooters. Instead, it is all Kabuki theater, designed to convey how much these folks care for the community.

    Francis, you got punked!

Oh, that's just brilliant, bringing in outside command officers, totally ignorant of what Miami is all about. Remember the two Timoney brought in? It didn't take long for both to show they were incapable of commanding and less leading at Miami PD. Miami PD is a furnace where imported wannabes' [mettle] evaporates under the intense heat. Incidentally, if Acevedo is the GOAT police chief, why does he need an external support team. He should have the managerial wisdom to identify quality, promising candidates from within MPD and apply his vast leadership skills to lead internally selected candidates to success as individuals and collectively as a department.

Mettle - noun: A person's ability to cope well with difficulties or face a demanding situation in a spirited and resilient way.

I am hopeful, yet extremely doubtful, that one day the public will see that "big city chiefs" like Assevdo, are the biggest problem in the CJ system. They pander to the far left in order to appease their left wing mayors and save their high paying jobs. They think they are so smart but they are not. If you give in even just an inch to these progressives, they see weakness and just want more.

Assevedo, as president of Major City Chiefs, was the biggest proponent of "bail reform." After recording the lowest violent crime rates in 49 years, bail reform has led to the largest spikes in violent crime in over 3 decades. Now Assclown, acts like he never heard of bail reform.

Hey pops, at your stage in life you should be aware of theory vs implementation. Meaning
Bail reform in theory has a rationale worth discussing, but when it gets to implementation its a much different animal.

It's one of the biggest fears in policy, you take a position then find out the rollout is completely different.

So, leaders fail when they,re pitched one idea , take a position, but the implementation of the strategy gets f,d up.
This kat acevedo didn't just fall off the turnup truck and needs to be careful not to get caught in that crossbow path.

Rundy,s office can tell you how that works.

The Major City Chiefs Association is a cabal of current, former and recently fired police chiefs, like Assevedo. The association's main objective is to procure high-paying jobs for their fired members, selling books written by ghostwriters, while pretending to spread policies that seemingly will favorably impact public safety, which is a farce trending to be in line with the current Soft On Crime leftists agenda.
