    Why Are The Hialeah City Council Members Such Cowards?

    Chief Velasquez comes under national media scrutiny for letting Menocal prey on Hialeah's women and children for 4 years after the victims start coming forward, even gives him a merit raise. Then he is video taped committing arson... setting his gf's ex's truck on fire.

    I find it curious that the city council has no interest in his actions. They just stick their heads in the sand and pretend they don't know anything about these criminal acts. They have oversite of the PD. Are they that afraid of Hernandez?

    Strong Mayor government. Council has 0 say in anything. Carlos runs this town.

    3 females on the council, maybe 4 counting Zogby. They don't have the balls to stand up to Carlos.
