    Portland’s entire CMG team quits

The Portland PD 50 man CMG team quit the team after one of its team members gets indicted for an altercation with a reporter during the riots there last August.

Hit her from behind with a baton while she was running away, camera in hand. Hit her again in the face while she was sitting down after she fell. Then he walked away. She was never accused or charged for any crime. The PBA’s only defense for the battery was “ extreme stress.” The city settled for $50K. Honestly, the indictment shouldn’t have been a surprise. Hotheads don’t make good choices under pressure.

Stop watching CNN he hit her as she fell to the ground after pushing her back. Oh and by the way don’t forget the part that she was a BLM activist not a journalist. Watch the video stupid.

I never claimed she was a journalist in any way, just that she had a camera. For that, you should direct your response to the person who started the thread.

Here's video from a Fox affiliate since you threw the typical CNN strawman in there: https://www.kptv.com/police-review-i...a8472cb9f.html

She fell after the baton blow to the back of the head/neck as she was running away. Let's assume she was hit as she was falling like you suggested, is that really your way of justifying it? You also didn't address the strike to the face while she was sitting. If she was resisting, why didn't he follow through with an arrest?

Having a temper tantrum in uniform and engaging in "street justice" has consequences. There's lots of liberal bull going on in Portland and cities elsewhere. But use legitimate cases where law enforcement are being unfairly scrutinized. This isn't one of them. Have a little bit of objectivity. Or try losing your temper here and see what happens?

Also, insults via internet don't impress me much so you can save your energy. Try debating, not derailing.

First push I see no issue. Second hit maybe a little problematic but criminal? Nope
