    Buyout

Easy way for them to shed a lot of money if they do a buyout….plenty of money in this budget

True but it take almost four years before you start to see the money. Also, with the way things area around this agency you don't need a buyout people are running out as soon as they can.

Where can we see what the entire requested budget is? Maybe that will give us a sense of the step plan and where we will actually be in the different ranges.

There is no step plan. Watch the BOCC minutes from last week. Very informative but it doesn’t sound like everyone is on board.

So how much more will a six year sergeant make? How are they going to do the pay scale to figure out what the raise will be.

You’re giving bad info. They mentioned the pay compression issue throughout the meeting and reference how the step plan is expensive up front but needed.

They also stated how it would actually make the counties budget more streamlined and easier to plan into the future knowing who will paid what in several years.

Just one old man isn’t on board but he’ll come along.

    Unbelievable

Like most threads on here it looks like this one is dead after the the constant useless banter and bellyaching is shown to be nothing than that. THIS Sheriff has done what no other sheriff has ever done for this agency. THIS Sheriff is a man of action and not words,
