    2021 Flair cases

Halfway through 2021…does anyone know how many cases flair has taken this year? Just curious as it seems like a good opportunity for a Corproal who does not want to be overwhelmed with many cases, but instead focus on just a few a year

Fort Myers Flair is still working on the lonely case they got last year. But hey, they do plenty of 'assist' until its lunch time, then you never see them again. They will help you with a math equation on a SVSO case, fill the assist log and then disappear for the week. What a waste of benefits and salary.

    Here's the ironic part:

Back in 2010, the THI program was dismantled because Brierton was of the opinion that there were too many THI's and that the workload didn't support so many Corporal positions.

This was sparked because of him catching wind that a THI in Troop L worked one case all year, and had zero other activity. He ordered a comprehensive review of all THI Activity statewide and when the results came in, they showed that there were many places in the State where the number of Corporals was way overrepresented when measured against the number of cases (for example, some had zero cases and zero enforcement actions.)

As a result, THI statewide was gutted, with Troop K losing all their THI positions.

Now, a decade later we have this ridiculous FLAIR program which perpetuates the same laziness that caused the program to be deconstructed in the past.

2 hours to go to Cracker Barrel, take a dump and refill the 90 ounce drink, then assist Bubba for 2 hours, then lunch and poof

Best kept secret gig in the patrol. Even better than the polygraph position.

Hopefully they don't look at the THI sergeant in Ft Myers, or they will do away with the position. Always on leave, zero activity and goes home at 3pm everyday (the 4 days a week he works)
