Recored your supervisor if you feel threatened

This case could set the stage to record the brass if they get stupid.

A judge already ruled in favor of SPPD Officer Miranda when he recorded supervisors lying to him to fire him. Judge ruled that you CANNOT expect privacy inside a police station. Officer Miranda was entitled to rehire and back wages.

Miranda used his I-phone in his pocket. The brass lied their asses off about a conversation they had with him. He produced the phone to his lawyer and outed them. He won. No policy violation or law broken. Well, maybe lying in an internal investigation (two Lt's).

If you find yourself in one of these positions, do NOT rely on FOP or PBA. They will sell you out and make a deal behind your back to get something for themselves and the fat asses upstairs. Get a good lawyer. They fear the truth coming out

Record and/or document everything when your COC speaks to you no matter how trivial it seems. The day will come when this documentation will save your skin if they try to screv you over somehow. That's the present agency culture where everyone is out to make themselves look good at others' expense. Don't count on anyone in your COC to back you up but expect them to backstab you when it is convenient for them.

not sure if you're trolling or not, but it's actually good advice. do NOT trust anyone and look out for yourself. there is no "brotherhood" - at least not really...that only happens when tragedy strikes...but for all other times, cya - recording/documenting the brass when they're being abusive (which is like whenever their ego is challenged) is a good idea to get changes to hostile work environments they often cultivate.
