Wrong thread , here we want to comment on the real demonstration and partnerships to solve use of force tactics when not needed.


I'm wondering now if this product would have benefited our dear favorite Publix po. He may have felt bolo to take the edge off, ( due to theft even with the run)then we go to what's next?

Walk me thru the situation
This case, no threat, the bolo is used to stop,
Hold and pause allowing the officer that second to calm before next steps.

Bolo may not solve , but it allows an officer a moment of pause in non life threatening policing. This needs testing.
Discuss if it's a good tool for some situations.
Policy issues to get discussed
1. Held against will? Detained appropriately?
2. Barrier bt detain and use of force is ok?
3. Proper location on body? Above the hips to wrap arms if errattic? Locational misuse?
4. Demo,s in NET for community acceptance?
