So remember the most recent FBI sting op that embedded encryption into phones bought by criminals, and the new identifiable chips embedded in artwork?
Don't be stupid to think this chief isn't making use of technology for police assets.

Your equipt belongs to the dept, it's not yours.

Right and I have a toll booth for sale, on I-95 & 8th. street. You need a warrant, to tap phones and it isn't a blanket warrant to tap all phones sold in Dade County.

Right....and do you think its possible that a prosection office would have a subpoena signed by an inhouse paralegal ordered by an in house professional staff who wasn't an attorney?
Nevermind that, do you prefer a fisa discussion instead?
I'll buy that toll booth ..

Speculation is just that , but breaks in the system happen and Leo,s know that all too well.
Have to prove it...and that comes at a cost.
Leave the keys on top of the booth with the release of rights of ownership to sell.

What about going through lockers in Cdss and stealing contents? Major Simmons said, “Let them come at me and see wha’ happens!” They do not have integrity. Let the process play out and Acevedo will guilty of negligent retention
