Best chance to get a raise is to hire professionals and keep EVERYONE from the PBA away from the negotiations. It’s more than Obvious that these PBA dudes are flying by the seat of their pants hoping for a lucky break.

John Rivera we know is you posting all of these anti-PBA messages. We know you miss your adulterous assistant, your credit card, your submissive cohorts Vazquez and Jenkins and the James Gondolfini Soprano image you used to throw around. Did you not profit enough in all of those years you were our president? Did you not cut a behind-the-scenes deal with Carlos Gimenez to destroy our benefits, pay and pension? Why then continue this crusade against young guys who may nay even have been born at the time you became a cop? Buddy, lay off already. Enjoy that palace you built in the Keys, fish, drink, and live happy. You survived this hell hole of a county now live in peace.

Your credibility went into the toilet claiming that JR had a deal with Gimenez. That by itself let’s me you you are full of shitz.
Just get us a raise instead of wasting our time with your nonsense. I didn’t care if your are Steadman or not.

Says the ignorant fool who spent his whole career outside the circle and is too naive to know how the game is played. By the way, Santa and the Sandman are real, pass it on.

A 2% raise wouldn’t be so bad. Is it that hard to negotiate??

Why only 2%? Since you're dreaming why not 200% raise? Hey numbskull any raise will be forfeited to the BLM.

Come on PBA, I’m sure the poster knows your limitations. I think he meant another 1% for another 4 years which would make it 2% raise. No one expects anymore since you don’t fight for anything except your elections and high PBA salary

    Bargaining Unit Members:

We just concluded our second session of bargaining with the County, and once again, Chiefs Jimmy Morales and JD Patterson attended, in addition to the Command staffs from both the Police and Corrections Department including Director Ramirez. Morales and Patterson are both what used to be called Deputy Mayors, and it is important that not one but two of the Mayor's top people attended. It is a sign that the Administration is taking these negotiations seriously.

We made substantive economic proposals today which included raises in each of the three-years of the proposed agreement, retroactive to October 1 of last year.

The property appraiser's values released last week exceeded the County's estimates making us optimistic that we will be able to present a contract worthy of your consideration. While we expected values to increase more, they did not because of construction delays due to COVID-19. When those properties receive their certificates of occupancy this year, it will push property values up even more next year, which is very good news as this is where the majority of the County budget comes from.

We do not have our third session scheduled yet, as the County must now cost out our economic proposals, but as soon as we do have a date, we will let you know.

In the meantime, keep focused on making it home safely to your family at the end of every shift. That is the most important thing!

Thank you to whomever wrote that for Steadman. Can you share what the significant monetary requests are?
