    Investigator open position

Can anyone give me insight to the open investigator positions in the Walton County office? Looking for an objective view at the job. I noticed a few weeks back they had an internal employee only announcement for the same location. Also, the starting pay is listed at 39k to 58k a year, how is the determination made at what someone starts at?

    Real work

These positions investigate everything from fraud, drugs, theft etc. Pay would be based on experience and if the candidate is worth it.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have personal knowledge about that office as far as supervision/co-workers? Whats an average case load for an investigator?

Warning. The base pay is always at the bottom unless you already work for ag and are promoted then it's 10%. So outside people it's at the 39k pay. Oh and FYI pay raises are set by the legislators and that is a joke. So enjoy base salary for awhile. As far as case load it depends but the major is a real ball buster since they went outside the agency to fill the chiefs spot. If you get it make sure you cross all your Ts and dot all your Is on your reports or get ready for a write up.
