Please Sheriff. What you did with the animals was great and a great move for your political gain and it clearly worked. Now that you have secured your election can we please get back to policing the streets. Violent crime is up and it shows you don't care. We need detail, overtime suppression units, more boots on the ground. Not dogs and cats. Its time to start caring about the citizens of this county for once and not yourself.

Ft. Myers Beach is a shithole and was always a shithole, which is why shithole people go to the beach in Ft. Myers, so they can hangout with their shithole friends and drink in shithole bars and watch the homeless people shit in the sand. What is the solution of the Sheriff's Office for years, lets just keep two deputies on the shithole island and that will be that for the shithole. Ft. Myers beach counsel need to dish out the money and create a community policing unit like Bonita Springs did. Worked well in Bonita. Create a three man team with addition too the two beach deputies and watch the island clean up fast. The hell with all this other garbage this agency dumps money into. This county is and always will be based on tourism money. We see how long the outreach center on the beach lasted, wasted money. At least waste the money into something that will work for the community.

Absolutely well said. Thanks for the laugh. Yes, pay up or shut down shitholes likes the Lani Kai. Watching those videos of those ANIMALS on the beach during heat shooting reminded me why I won’t bring my family there. Stick to bringing your family to Bonita, Marco, Siesta Key, Venice... okay anywhere nicer than FMB.

Those cheap f's on council need to get off their wallets.
Remember, they not to fund the SRO at the beach school and let some broke azz developer put in a temporary outpost that got shut down in April.

Highlight of the press conference was when CM referred to the arrested suspect as a Thug! Major points in my book!

They are looking for a new location for the out reach center on Ft. MYERS BEACH. Instead of wasting money on something that was never open or was never used we don't we just use the founding to add a third deputy to the beach full time on each shift.

Patrol is bare minimum why these specialty unit’s are stacked. For one the marine unit. We have the coast guard and FWC out there all the time so we really need such a huge full time marine unit?

Back in the day, the beach was enforced and was 100 times better than it is now. Deputies had free reign to actively go after homeless criminals that were being sheltered by residents and Chapel by the Sea, pro active against all the criminals that invade the beach from Lehigh and other crap holes of the county. 99% of the island residents supported the Deputies in their actions and were active in giving information on illegal activities. Animals with active warrants were hunted down daily as well. What a shame that all that was abandoned for photo ops and dogs.
