Bruce was a great person and will be solely missed. He would help anyone who needed any help. RIP my Brother! So sad. Till we meet again......

Obituary for Capt. Bruce Allen Harrell
Capt. Bruce Allen Harrell, 57, of Riverview, Florida, born January 15, 1964 in Bradenton, entered into eternal rest May 31, 2021. He was a Deacon at Balm Baptist Church, and loved God, his family and home. He and his wife Susan enjoyed assisting the FFA and 4H in their youth development. He was a former firefighter for East Bradenton Fire Department, and a retired Captain for Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, where he was instrumental in forming the SIRT Team, and former supervisor of the Agriculture unit, and jail deputy. He loved it out west and his dream was to buy a motor home and him and Susan go back out to Wyoming to visit family again. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan Bond Harrell; sons, James Wilson Harrell (Michaela) of Balm, Blake Austin Harrell (Kayla) of Plant City, and Lane Allen Harrell of Riverview; mother, Ada Tolar, step father, Jack Tolar (who loved him as his own son); siblings, Michael Harrell (Kimberly), Randy Harrell (Marlene Young), and Jamie Howell; step sisters, Lynda (Pete) Nickols, and Brenda (Jackie) Barrineau; step mother, Janice Harrell; grandchildren, Dawson Michael Harrell, Coralee Gayle Harrell, and Jaxon Hayes Harrell; father-in-law, James Bond; mother-in-law, Lucretia Bond; sister-in-law, Lindy (Chuck) Landers; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and very close friends. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas E Harrell. A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 6, at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M. Graveside committal to follow at Hopewell Memorial Gardens, Plant City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Balm Baptist Church at www.balmbaptistchurch.org.
