Improper relationships
We get these big speeches, memos and GO's concerning improper relationships, conflicts of interests, ethics, paramour subordinates and superiors, off duty paramours who are dancers and/or pros, etc. Then they nail BB who propositioned some dancer.
If this administration is serious about these rules why does it overlook this stuff among its executive and command staff? Nobody is supposed to be above the rules. Or do the rules they make apply only to the deputies? That's over the top hypocrisy.
Classic case of do as we say not as we do.

I’m sure we can all name these executives and command staffers breaking these “rules” so let’s start and see where it takes us.

You are so right! History shows that the brass here is the most ethical and rule abiding in the existence and they would never engage in improper relationships and break General Orders regulations. Only the lowly deputies do that but the highly moral brass keep them in check and weed out all the bad ones. Never any preferential treatment!

Another one of Bob's butt kissers trying to deflect the blame on Rice. Bob owns this one because he has been in office for many years and has conveniently overlooked such violations when his brass was involved. Not so with deputies except in cases where they were dynasty kids or connected in some other way.
Here is a quote from an earlier post:
"This place LOVES match sets. Jail colonel and AID captain, match set. Special Ops captain and ILP manager, match set. Support services major and AID sergeant (idiot), match set. They are the debutants of the agency."
What about the two Lt's in DC who were married to each other and cheated with subordinates. His wife was cheating with several female subordinates prior to their divorce. Now she is captain and romantically involved with a female sergeant.
The other female DC captain has had numerous affairs with subordinates with her husband's knowledge. It still does not make it right. No action taken.
And what about the Lt. in support services who had a relationship with a subordinate because her husband was cheating with a subordinate as well? She is a close friend of Bob's so nothing happened to her.
And let's not forget the assistant chief who was treating the agency like his own personal night club. Again, no action taken.
