    Every Sheriff has a personal agenda when the enter the Office. Sheriff Scott wanted to reduce the amount of traffic homicides in the county, which is why he created the Traffic Unit. Most Sheriff's would have used the safety and welfare of children in their community to gain votes, but we see how much Carmine supported his possible child. So he went with the next best thing, animals. This is where he gained his experience as a park ranger. Writing park violations for not curbing your dog. Forgetting to give the dog water after playing fetch. Maybe the next Sheriff will go back to the routes of Law Enforcement and combated the crimes that matter, such as cold case homicide, crimes against children's, violent crimes and so on. We all love animals in a way but people matter too.
