RDS thoughts

So a buddy of mine works for PPPD(Pinellas Park) and he told me they are getting RDS’s(red dot sights) for all patrol handguns. Anyone had any experience with them? Seems that’s how a lot of agencies are going for the future.

Duh, they suck. Iron sights all the way.

The split second you spend looking for that red dot instead of instinctively shooting could cost you.

What's wrong with iron sights? No batteries. You don't have to worry about whether or not you will see it, adjustment or any of that. They have always worked for me. Every single time. And they don't take up room
