Rumor has it that there is a retired local Deputy Chief who is quietly putting a team together to take back LCSO and make it great again. “Stand back and Standby”......

But who will put at the dogs, cats, bunnies, squirrels, and other rodents before deputies and citizens? Who will maintain all the useless community outreach centers, who will take advantage of female crime victims, who will wast money on blackhawk helicopters, who will protect command staff when the drive drunk on and off duty, who will hire staff that fail polygraphs with criminal past records. It can't be. What would we do with a honest educated well rounded Sheriff. We would be screwed. You mean to tell me there would be accountability. Deputies would put citizens first. Wow, thats a lot to take in at once.

Who would want to leave the road right now? All sorts of new equipment, new uniforms (maybe), less stress. Why change billets to a detective and only make roughly $80 more a paycheck. You could work one four hour detail and make that with WAY less stress. Road just comes to work does the job they are required to do and goes home, has a constant never changing schedule. Anyone who is saying they need off the road for “change” obviously has not worked long enough to realize how easy it is.

How come you never patrol all the hoods in your patrol area? Or do you sit car to car in a parking lot, drinking coffee or whatever and wait for dispatch to send you to a call? What happened to being a real cop? I am glad you are having such a great time on our dime. Get off your butt and do the job that you were hired to do. Stress happens when you become a real cop. Actually, being a suit is less stressful. So, quite banging your drums and do something useful. Please start owning the problems of your county and do something about it. I guess, we need more stress reduction counseling.
