off duties
can someone please post the Off-duty policy for the department - cannot find it publically
specific information needed would be for below
What rank is available for private hire during their off-duty hours at the request of citizens, organizations and businesses? What rank can assist the community by providing law enforcement services relating to crowd control, traffic control and security.
What rant can be hired for the following:
Civic celebrations
Construction sites
Job safety
Private functions
Social events
Store sales events
*Does anyone at the City first check to see that there is a permit for the event before using off duty is carried out?
Does the city reserve the right to refuse or cancel off-duty work assignments that are in conflict with the law or values of the PD Office. Furthermore, does the PD Office ever recall the officers for official duty when necessary for community safety.
What are the rates of Service?
Are they updated and verified when paid as of each Month? So what would RATES for April 2021 state?
Are the rates different for rank?
Position
Public Service Aide (civilian) ? per hr.
Officer ? per hr.
Specialty Unit + ? per hr. (K-9, Hazardous Devices, Mounted Patrol, Marine)
Sergeant ? per hr.
Lieutenant ? per hr.
Major. ? per hour
Marked Vehicle* + ? per hr. (per vehicle)
Marine Unit (Boat)** + ? per hr. (per vessel)
How many hours required for minimum? – can employees can work less than ? hours but are they paid for min hours?
When there is a request for say five (5), but less than ten (10) officers for a detail, is one (1) sergeant required?
What is the policy for Additional sergeants required?
5-9 officers= 1 sergeant
10-14 officers= 2 sergeant and 1 lieutenant
How often does it get higher than 14?
*Is A marked unit is required for traffic-related details in off duty?
**When utilizing the PD office Marine Unit, is there an additional fee charged for cleaning/maintenance per event.

Cut the crap. If you want all that info just do a public records request. Unless you're some disgruntled officer (or above) that didn't get a job. Go to Central, 3rd floor, records window and get your info. You ain't gonna get but mockery up in this *****.
