Miami-Dade Police lieutenant [John Jenkins] arrested on rape charges in Palm Beach County, Michelle F. Solomon ABC Local 10, reported.

We believe this is not a smear on MDPD, but the actions of a man with a failed character. What we do in life matters, especially what we do when no one is looking. Guess now, that felony rape charges were filed, Jenkins is relieved of duty WITHOUT PAY?

In the case of MDPD, our “profession” is made up by the men and women who wear the brown gown. That profession is to be guarded jealously by the director, in this case Freddy Ramirez, and the newly minted overseer position currently held by J.D. Patterson. Sadly both of those leaders listed have known for years about John Jenkins’ failed character and have turned a blind eye. The members of this department, who should respect that brown gown, elected Jenkins to the second position on our bargaining unit and disregarded any concern for honor. You even had Patterson and Ramirez appointing Jenkins to the Orange Bowl Committee and considering him for a promotion to major.
All things considered, I have to agree, John Jenkins is a smear on our department and our profession. Ramirez, Patterson and those who voted him for a leadership position at the PBA are even a greater smear and an embarrassment to the fine department we all signed on for. That is my humble opinion.

When John Jenkins and Steadman all decided they were gonna run against John Rivera, They knew what Jenkins was like because Jenkins and the Sgt at Arms hired women on several occasions… it wasn’t a secret. The PBA Sgt at Arms hired a call girl for every event. He would fly them in from Other places for the weekend. He and Jenkins partied hard with many other women and it was well known. Jenkins has been an arrogant piece of crap for years. He has been going around saying how happy he is with his new wife and how he reads the Bible every day and how he’s never realized how beautiful life can be. He is nothing but fake, he is nothing but a liar, he is nothing but a cheat, he is nothing but a wife beater and a manipulator! he buys his sons love and he treats his daughter like shit. he is a piece of shit all the way around!!! and you know what?? this is definitely karma catching up to his ass, because he is no different today than he was in 1996 when he started this department he was a piece of work in the Academy, on the road, in the PBA, in PIO and he is what he is now.
