Nah, I know both of them pretty well. I'll go out on a limb here and say both went because it was the right thing to do. It showed respect, loyalty, and dedication. Traits that some of you lost long ago. It's amazing, you people cry when we don't promote internally, but here we have two guys come up through the ranks and do well for themselves. Yet here you are again, trashing them because you don't have the courage or drive to challenge yourself to do better. Maybe you are one of those that needs to hurt others to make yourself feel better about your depressing life? No telling. My only advice to you is to do better and be the catalyst this agency needs.

The most accurate statement yet.
We didn't hire the right people.
This is a regulatory agency with a very small and limited law enforcement function.
This is a job that tacti-cool narcs and self-centered beat cops don't adapt well to.
We finally get a management team that understands what we were tasked to do and hold us to it and the malcontents won't adapt. It is time for them to move on and leave the beverage law to those of us that want to be here.
