That wasn’t directed at Waldo. That was directed at the latest transfer of a CST Sergeant to Homicide. Let me repeat that. A CST Sergeant Sergeant. Is he a good guy? Professional? Have friends in the right places? Maybe. Does he bring anything to the table Investigative wise? Absolutely not. That bureau needs to promote from within. You want to be a homicide sergeant or LT? Cool. How many bodies you flipped? How many NOK notifications have you made. Ever stood in a room with a decomp for hours? Ever trial prepped for a month and been grilled on the stand? No???? Ok then Gtfo and go be a sergeant at GIU or DV then work your way up.

This is unfortunately the doing of the Major and Captain. They are the ones bringing their friends with no experience and yet demanding closures! Not to mention they are both investigators and are constantly telling us what to do! Go learn to be a manager since you decided to be promoted and leave the investigations to those that actually know what they are doing.
