    Homicide

What is going on in Homicide? You are transferring people left and right and replacing them with a bunch of zeros with no experience.

Director F. Ramirez that is exactly what the Miami Police Department did, under that agency's Friend and Family Program. Now that agency's homicide unit is a joke -- according to their own. Don't make the same error, Homicide detectives should come from MDPD's best-of-the-best investigative bureaus. Start with detectives from Special Victims, Robbery, and district GIUs, detectives with experience in closing the most serious crimes against person cases. We excluded other investigative units because Homicide investigations require that investigating detectives bring to the case a modicum of affinity for the victim and his or her surviving relatives, and a penchant for meticulousness and most importantly patience.

    Chose wisely!

This place is a joke! Dumb and dumber are transferring people and replacing them with they’re friends with no experience. You both should be demoted for stupidity and ignorance!

The families of these victims deserve and expect experience and at least some basic knowledge of investigations. All we are getting are people with no experience and most of which never interviewed!

I remember a time, when MOST of the detectives came from GIU in Northside or Robbery. A few detectives from narcotics went there. MY my, how times change!

Train people in Homicide? Do you hear yourself stupid! They should not be training anyone! It’s suppose to be the best of the best handling the worse crime to society. Wait until the lawsuits start coming down on the brass for these incompetent moves.
