The plan all along was for the city to buy it and “plan a police station” but then deny the project and resell it at a higher rate.

Roger did you advise the (Architects Design Group) that the station is put on hold and may never come to fruition, due to Mayor Benedict Anderson putting a fork in the idea, might want to be straight forward with these folks.

Hello everyone and welcome to the 10:30 am tour of FMPD. As you can see, we have the staff park close and assign parking spaces right outside the building. Officers park way over there on the other side of the asbestos filled building that serves no purpose . Any questions. Yes, what are all those crappy junk cars fenced in? Are they waiting to be scrapped? No that is our fleet. But you see the sparkling new silver Ford F150. That's mine. And all those new Explorers are the chiefs.

This is the first floor and that is the patrol briefing room, any questions. Yes, are those 3 officers in trouble? Oh no that is a regular briefing. Those 4 supervisors are in charge of the 3 shift patrol guy and they are just doing briefing. This is the officers room. It is up to date with the latest Tandy 1000 MS/DOS computers and we try to keep 3 of the 6 working at all time. Any questions. Yes, where do you still get the green/white printing paper with the holes you have to align with in the printer? Great question. It is getting harder to find.

And these are the holding cells. Any questions. Yes, how old is this stuff and what's in the cabinet? Well the holding cells are from the originals from the Alamo and the cabinet holds the gunpowder and flash bulbs for when we take a prisoners photo with our old timey camera.

Now lets move to the second floor (to be continued).
