So what’s the alternative??? Respond to a riot in the dead of summer without training? I mean really, start hydrating right now, eat better, move the blood around in your body and thank a red shirt when you’re the one going home and the other guy is going to jail.

There will be NO RIOT in Miami after Derek Chauvin's verdict is announced. Why, you ask, elementary, Huberto is in town, large and in charge. A guilty verdict will generate waves of jubilation among the long-oppressed, and they hit the streets of Miami to voice their elation. Huberto, as he did in Houston, will join the ecstatic mass and with them rejoice. Doubtless, Huberto will "ask" staff personnel to join him in this act of solidarity with the too-long beleaguered. So, yes, start training to walk for the cause under Miami's searing heat. Huberto expects it!

Oh, by the way, the noun "Riot" is henceforth canceled. It is too racist! From now on the adjective "civil disagreement: will be used.

“Combating Public Disorder Act (CPDA)” The bill, HB 1, is clear in its Intent, Letter, and Spirit, as Attorney General Ashley Moody so eloquently stated. Nowhere in the First Amendment text does it exist text implicitly condoning what the CPDA forbids. As the preeminent USSC Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes introduced in the March 3, 1919, U.S. Supreme Court decision in Schenck v. United States. The freedom of speech protection afforded in the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment could be restricted if the words spoken or printed [or criminal actions taken] represented a “clear and present” danger to society. In other words, no citizen has the right to falsely shout “fire” in a crowded theater.

Attorney General Ashley Moody said, “We ask law enforcement officers to take an oath to protect and serve. We, as leaders, in turn, have a responsibility to protect them as they ensure order and safety in the communities they serve. We respect the right of people to peaceably assemble and make their views known on issues of public policy, but rioting, violence, and destruction of property cannot and will not be tolerated in Florida. I want to thank Governor DeSantis and our great legislative leaders for taking steps to prevent the chaos and destruction happening in other parts of the country from gaining a foothold in Florida.”

My ignorant friend the real question is not the fact that we have training during the hottest month of the year but the real question is what does the flop do about anything , we pay close to a million dollars a year and what do we get , beards , nope the city can force you to shave once a year or whenever they want under a safety rule so what do we get , it seems to me we are better off saving that money and be at the mercy of the city which we are anyways
