Well, it's official..Cape Coral doesn't want him as their chief. So much for his bigger and better option. Maybe now he can check his ego and focus on the morale at the department he's actually paid to run. Never felt so much tension and poor morale in this building.

He's had over 3 years and done nothing but run the morale into the ground and promote his buddies from Lee. He's made it quite clear that he thinks he's above living NP.

He needs to prove himself in NP first. He has allowed things to spiral out of control. He has allowed the Assist Chief and his boys free reign and make no doubt about it, the Asst Chief is pushing Chief G out. Chief G needs to regain the reigns, first, enforce uniform and grooming standards, NPPD looks like a rag tag bunch of slobs. Get rid of the Asst Chief, he is useless, well actually he has always been useless. Demote all of the Asst Chiefs cronies and promote those who actually know and do the job. Long term employees first, not lee county transfers. Accountability not excuses. If you continue to allow; this I don't want to piss the union off way of management, the Chief will be done and this will haunt him wherever he goes. Hey Chief G grow a pair, you were bought here to straighter this place out, not kiss their a$$'s. You wear a clean uniform and shined shoes everyday, you are properly groomed, you set the example. that no one follows !!!! Right now there is actually two NPPD's, one run by Chief G and the other run by the Assist Chief, it's time to disband the latter....Leave now and it's a failure

the a$$ chief has always been the problem here, he sucked his way to the top doing favors for his political allies. He is two faced and a liar. Never was even an adequate cop. He created all the problems that KV took the heat for and just slid back into the shadows. Chief G needs to rid NPPD of A$$ Chief CM and demote his boys, ML,ES and the good old boy club. One dept, one leader is that to much to ask. People of NP make no doubt about it, Chief G leaves and CM becomes the Chief it will be just like it was years ago during the KV era !!!!!
