OK, here's the real deal. If and it's a big if, any follow up is done at the Chief's request. It will min. punishment, if any at all. The lie you die, is only for lower ranking uniform officers. Staff is a world onto themselves. Why hasn't those in charge of the motor pool, took any action, I.A., the public corruption unit? Cause it's all about appearances and washing each others backs. This chief is smoke and mirrors, when it comes to holding staff or city hall accountable.
