Yes who would want to come back to this career. I'm ready to hang it up in a few years, everything we do will be judged on these incidents that's taken place in our country. A political microscope will be set in place on each individual by their respective departments..

Or you can lose everything by minding your own business after over 20 years of service and some filthy demented militant turd can be given a sheriffs position and fire you for no reason. Make no mistake, folks in unprotected positions are about to feel this firsthand.
Prepare your families. I wasn't given that luxury.

People in unprotected positions know that it could happen any day. We live with it. Grab your balls and move on! I’m sure you knew it was coming, you just didn’t get removed/fired for no reason. You may not agree as to the “why” but you had to know it was a possibility. Don’t get involved in politics, don’t use excessive force, and don’t commit a crime. If you avoid those you will be able to have a rewarding career and collect your pension .

Definitely difficult being a LEO in the 21st century, has become a less than desirable job.
