Marijuana will become legalized within a few years! Just look around the country. The long term damage it causes, WHO KNOWS! After they get marijuana legalized, they will start working on the other drugs.

Districts shouldn’t be working drug cases, period. That’s what narcotics is for.

Do districts handle robberies, sex crimes, homicides? Nope.. Districts should be deterring crime while on patrol and adhering to crime trends. Yes of course drugs are the root of almost all crime in Dade county, but that should still be a job for the narcotics bureau and not a district.

If the department wants districts to handle drug cases, then get rid of narcotics and let the feds do their thing.
