I think those who did his bidding should be fired and black listed from being able to ever work in state government again. You shouldn’t be able run a government agency like the family nursery and foster an atmosphere that is hostile to minorities.

I like our chances going forward. We are a focused agency with leadership that recognizes that we no longer need the burden of sworn staff.

Halsey Beshears, R-Monticello, stacked the deck in favor of an application his brother and the spouse of his childhood friend, Burnette, had submitted to the state for one of five licenses to grow and sell medical marijuana.
