Unfortunately Diggs used to whole entire incident as a ploy to make himself look good and a beefed up pay raise. During each of his interviews he would hold his head up high and speak about how he cleaned up the corruption at FMPD. My question is what corruption? None at all. The only corruption is him and his cronies from Ohio spending millions of tax payer’s dollars on outside consultants mainly from OHIO. Also don’t forget about Diggs using a city credit card to purchase alcohol.

Destefanis and Petaccio both started this mess along with a few others. Just because black officers live in a black or brown neighborhood doesn’t mean they are involved in the drug trade. This case has brought down race relations inside of FMPD even to the highest ranks. This entire incident was brought upon by opinions, stereo types and white privilege. Trust inside of FMPD has gone out the window. Do your time and get out because there are more racist cops than ever at FMPD.

Just because an officer is black and live in his community and doing great things doesn’t make him corrupt as they put on black and white that has since failed. Diggs is an employee not elected so Anderson doesn't need to run he can appoint a city manager who will hire him as the new chief. He got beat out of his dream job and has always wanted to be top cop.

No not true Sergeants N and F retired and Capt P drop cycle ended. The 2 sergeants were loosing their high five waiting for answers which obviously never came. They made the choice to hold their high five. Forced to retired under duress to save their pension. They all have grounds for deformation of character with no basis. City of Ft Myers get that cheddar ready $$$

Nice excuse but honest people with nothing to hide would have stayed, regardless of the outcome on ATMS they will always see unhireable due to resignation while under investigation.
