I’m guessing the difference is seasoned adults VS Teenagers and 21+ year olds. I can tell you’re uncultured when it comes to spring break. Panama City 2008-2015 had the same issues and the common denominator was kids who don’t think about repercussion. The theme of spring break has been and will always be “Do whatever”

Well their chief explained it perfectly well they have a staffing plan in place that they worked on since last year. Ft. Lauderdale had the same issues, but developed a plan that works to control high volume crowds. The same way we developed a plan that works for memorial day weekend. We had the blueprint and chose not to use it. Also their chief mentioned no hotel on ft Lauderdale is under 300.00 and they implemented covid restrictions early not last minute. Also they don’t have the issues of airbnb. It’s a multifaceted problem not just about demographics. Stop allowing your implicit bias to reign.

We get it you don’t like black people, but if that theory was “100%” correct then why did today run smoothly? Same demographic here and nowhere compared to Sunday. Jazz in the gardens is a predominantly black event with thousands of people ... same demographic no issues.

Today was a shit show filled with disrespect. The cops were tired and it showed. The large numbers were not there but we got plenty of push back from our favorite NY visitors

Chief Clements lack of planning let to the desperate measures. Not the cops fought. To have a plan that has worked for 2 decades with the same demographics and issues and not use it is called one thing. Incompetence!!!
