I'm not to impressed. Yet, city hall believes he's the Moses of police chief's and work. Of all he's the best?? Tells much about our staff in the eyes of city hall. City is always crying over money and yet, they throw a extra 100k in salary and 50k to move. 50K really??? Why can't he pay his own way to move, he wants the job here! A little after he starts city hall and the union will, try to cut something. So, how much money has the city set aside for out special black accepted training? More then likely, some roll call training, shows how important it is.

Acevedo won a $1 million law suit against the state of CA for that misstep.

Actually, no! If you read the article it says, $600K went to pay Hubert's attorneys. The settlement with the female plaintiff was not disclosed in this article, though other articles we have read, said Hubert and the female plaintiff settled with each other, and each paying for their legal fees. The woman must have had a hell of a case for Hubert to folk over $600K from the million he got from his lawsuit against CHP, to pay legal fees generated by the female plaintiff, huh?

Forget it, folks. It's L A. Now Hubert is in Miami, and all sorts of new adventures await.
