Save you & your family any future stress & step down. You’re not cut out for this position & it will be worse when you’re forced out. Take the politically correct route out & use the famous “spend time with family” excuse before you humiliate yourself more. The city is out of control & it’s your fault. It’s not the chiefs fault that a failed culture has invaded Miami Beach. These are not college students they are professional gangsters. However the chief and his command staff of egotistical maniacs refuse to listen to anyone and continue to come up with new ideas instead of going back to what has worked in the past. We have been at this for 4 weeks and now things are at a fever pitch. He used his resources too early and has tried to arrest his way out of this cultural nation wide problem. The 3 sets of street crimes teams have busted their butts to make a difference. They have made tons of arrests confiscated over 50 fire arms and locked up bad guys but its only gotten worse. City halls idea of rebranding has worked alright but they rebranded to the wrong class of people. This one culture of people has drastically altered our whole agency. City hall you are to blame for this mess. If you continue to cave in to the pressure it will take 20 years to recover but think about it this problem has been 20 years in the making with the liberal agenda.
