They had the chance to go back, or even go with Pines but always resigned with Davie.
But Davie is getting tired of SW Ranches. They are talking of not renewing it when it expires.

Correct. I mean if a topped out Sgt. here makes 126 and the new chief makes 115, how much less will they pay their Sgts and even less for their officers. It's not like they are in po-dunk somewhere. They are in a highly congested, high cost of living area surrounded by crap with an increasing crime rate. How do they expect to retain qualified people with the low pay. And even if pay was not an issue, you will have, according to the article, two officers and a Sgt. on duty? How is that for officer safety? People working there will question that as well and probably start to look elsewhere after being hired and you will have a revolving door. What you will have is a situation where people who were fired or "resigned" from other agencies under questionable circumstances if not outright convictions but that crime allows them to keep their ticket being hired. How well of a background check will be done under the pressure to get bodies in the door? We have already seen what happens when you don't do a thorough background check. Look at BSO just having problems getting hires in, which is not unique to BSO and is a general trend in LE these days as no one wants to be a cop given the climate and even cops that have kids are steering them away from a LE career. So again, with BSO being able to dangle more carrots to obtain hires with higher pay, better benefits, and more career opportunities, it will be difficult to get qualified officers for them. I wish them good luck.

So basically BSO will still be working Pembroke Park since we will be there all the time backing them up because they don't have enough officers per shift to do the job.

It’s only right to back them up. It’s not the officers fault. We need to give Parkland back phuck them for starting this bs political game.

Backup and assistance are two different things. However, I would wait and see what type of people they hire. We all know someone who we don't really want to backup because they will either **** you over by doing stupid shit or are suspected of being dirty. But let's assume for the moment those are not a factor. Then backup yes, such as a 13p or 10-50 but help with a perimeter or something else that might let the bad guy escape. Nope, eff Pembroke Park. It is just stupid politicians who have no idea what they are doing thinking they can get what they want, officers who will bow to their every whim.
