And part of the reason that proved the case for the union was that Tony lost his temper and was screaming at deputies at the hospital and funeral home

S Champaign internal affairs Captain
You can thank this scumbag for suspending JB. He knew it was wrong but still did it instead of standing up for what was right!

Actually it's weak not week and no they wouldn't have been suspended like JB they would have been terminated. They are all at will employees, unlike JB who is protected by the union. Now I know that hasn't stopped Tyrant Tony in the past from terminating employees, but they too will get their jobs back with back pay. It sucks being a political pawn but in the end they will have the last laugh. The ruling against BSO / Tony is a step in the right direction. After reading the ruling and Holmes' part in it, he should resign, now we know who he really is. I used to respect him, but no longer. He should have said no. Temper Tantrum Tony wasn't going to terminate him for obvious reasons.

So the union writes a letter on 3/16/20 to the sheriff. That same day, Holmes writes a letter saying he investigated the claims and found it to be untrue??? Under what IA case number?? If that investigation was ever used against the union, a case number would be pulled, taped statements obtained and the officer bill of rights honored. I sure hope BSO can produce that investigation. Such BS when a sheriff can weaponize IA against employees
