Was Jorge told to leave
So rumors has it that Jorge was ordered to leave yesterday, or maybe he left on his own or maybe he was escorted out of the building.
Or maybe he didn’t want to be scolded by crazy joe !
Only time will tell.

Nope sorry jorgie porjie stepped on his **** brought back el Captain without getting permission from the manager.
He was told don’t let the door hit the back of your ass as you leave the building. He was almost given a trespass warning and we’ll see if the manager will honor his reserve cop memo.

Doubt, Colina, a man who survived, and actually thrived in the "viper pit" that is the Miami Police Department for 31 years, would make a unilateral decision like returning Oritz to full duty without the city manager's consent. Though given the data Colina provided Federal and State investigators, where such could not find probable cause to arrest and convict Ortiz, there remains the Administrative Action. Meaning Colina should have kept Ortiz on ROD, cobble a Disciplinary Action Package recommending termination, and submit such to the city manager for his ultimate decision. Having to battle Ortiz, his lawyers, before a civil service Hearing Examiner, may have been the reason why Colina resigned, and like the cause for Key Biscayne's rejection for the Village manager's job.
Now it is left to whoever the city manager appoints as police chief to do what should have been done years ago, properly lead and manage Ortiz. Highly unlikely, Ortiz is back to full duty, working off duty jobs, some say. So is it a "clean slate" for Ortiz from now on?
