The problem is this office has no plan or strategy in place to hire the amount of deputies we need to properly staff the county. The three or four academies we put on a year with 30 recruits is not going to come close to cutting it. We need somebody to come up with a new recruitment amd hiring plan.

Maybe clear the dead wood out of the districts and reassign them back to patrol? How many do we have just walking the hallways carrying around a piece of paper attempting to make themselves appear as they are actually doing some sort of work? This agency has hundreds of deputies who literally do almost nothing law enforcement related day after day.

What does DS do on DUI? He’s the eldest, most senior DUI investigator, not a supervisor, but doesn’t do DUI investigations, nor does he wear a uniform 80 percent of the time...

How many mid shift units are these cpl’s supervising?

The stolen car kid napping today. That was an insane mess. Went home late.

    Lavigne

    The SCU shooting on Bloomingdale.

Non stop blatant vehicle burglaries as if we do not even exist.

    Ron Harrison

Maybe if half our squads were not stuck on natural death calls doing the MEO’s job and many other things, we could actually keep up.

    We constantly drown out here.

Funny how cute fancy press releases mention nothing about how understaffed we are and how little respect this agency commands.

And remember, when our sheriff speaks, even our k9’s listen. What a joke.

Who would want to be a police officer? LOL

Yeah man, grab the least experienced and most desperate, that will lead to less crime.
