There really is no reason for them to have “commercial vehicle enforcement” on the side except to let the public know they have no intention of stopping when they drive by them while being flagged down.

I would sure like to help you with that 9 car pile up 3000 feet away, but I am looking right at a Freightliner with a dented brake chamber and I just can't let this guy endanger the public.

CVE Troopers don't stop for crashes or 1060s because we are not allowed to. One CVE trooper was written up several months ago after he voluntarily took a crash when no tropper was available. Brass are the ones holding us back from doing our job properly.
