So can someone tell me why the PBA is having a schedule meeting Monday or even why schedules re still being talked about if we’re loosing half our people ina. Few months. How are we going to have rotating schedules with two agents per office???

Because converting half of us to IS2’s leaves us with too many IS2’s but they can’t look evil and may us off so they want to try and push us out quickly and quietly.

Think about it. The governor only looks at the cuts. It doesn’t show “reclassificstikns,” he’s only going to see we cut 7 vacant spots and are a I guess xxxxx money he won’t be reading every little section to see we’re reclassifying.

You don’t need weekends off if you spend your Saturdays posting on here.

Wrong. First, the Governor's office already identified a cost saving measure which will not impact operations within the agency or service to the public. That is why it is in the budget. You are hung up on reclass but everyone knows that means savings. If you were an investigator you would see that the agency had little choice in the budget exercise. By presenting what they did, they saved half the sworn. What you don't seem to grasp is offering half is preferable to the legislative branch deciding we don't need sworn at all. Plan on the legislators to take the offer. You and I both know we could operate just like the non sworn at Professional Regulation and the public would not know the difference. Have a plan.

Took me a hours to read all posts and I say wow. You will be qar & fired for your first mistakes so they can replace you with lower paid Inv specialists after a restructured. You have no protection once IS2 so have a plan and get out listen to me grass is greener.

The person running the office will be the person most qualified. Sworn or non sworn will have nothing to do with it. The chain of command chart as well as policy can be changed in approximately 20 minutes.
