SWEETWATER HAS PAID $100,000 in LEGAL BILLS (Jose Mejia v. City of Sweetwater, et al)

The city has spent over $100,000 in legal expenses in just a little over eighteen months.

The city is paying more than half of that out of the city’s own bank account. One thing is certain, if the Plaintiff didn’t have a case the city would have won long ago. The city’s motion to dismiss was DENIED.

Stop wasting tax payer dollars during this pandemic and end the litigation. Orlando you should be a shamed of yourself but then again when you’re profiting from such wasteful spending you don’t mind especially since it isn’t your money being spent.

The Commissioners and residents should know the truth. Transparency after all is what the Mayor’s campaign ran on. The Commissioners have the power to stop this wasteful spending and vote on a settlement offer via a Resolution. The Commission did the exact same thing with Saul Diaz, before becoming a Commissioner, sued the city and the Commission approved a settlement of $25,000 USD against the then Mayor’s wishes.

Commissioners stop the wasteful spending. Settle the case!

    Stand up to drug dealers

The city needs to spend whatever it takes to keep drug dealers from preying on our children. The citizens expects nothing less.

The only drug dealers in Sweetwater are Carmona, Pumpkin Head, Pumkin Head’s nephew Luis Delmonte, and Orlando’s coke dealer. No jodas macho! Be honest now macho

Hey now. If you would have just given the mayor a freebie every now and then you might not be in the predicament you are in now. Learn how to network!

He is desperate for. The bond terms won't let him take his usual trips to the San Francisco tenderloin district to make money.
