Credit is an interesting thing.

People want to get accolades (good credit) for things going good even when they had nothing to do with it, and also want to avoid the blame (bad credit) when things go bad even when it was totally their fault

After calling members of the community clowns for months, HPD now has bodycams. And due to a lack of funding HPD won't be getting a raise. LOL

Looks like some activist should get some credit for getting things done, and HPD should take the blame after their attempts to intimidate the citizenry backfired in their faces.

And since Rolle and his a$$kissers clamored to give Rolle credit for a lowering crime rate, should Rolle take the blame for escalating violence locally?

So let me get this right, the body cameras were coming without Doc pushing. But its his fault the fees and taxes whent up. That big monstrosity at 4 s krone did not have anything to do with it taxes going up. I also bet the wistful spending that the last city manager did had nothing do with it too. So if you think any taxes going up is Doc's fault you are not only blind but willfully stupid.

4) Having to beg civilians who don't even live in the city to come and praise the Chief and denigrate getting bodycams;

5) Your repeated claiming that bodycams were not going to happen;

etc, etc, etc.

How long have you been begging for extra officers now?

As to a broke budget and raised taxes, you might want to look in the mirror pushing for a temporary then new PD along with City Hall and Homestead Station.

But in your feeble mind to want to blame a few hundred thousand dollar cost on bodycams, while ignoring the over $160 million which was blown in recent years.

Actually, many people including Kim Hill pushed long and hard for bodycams.

The majority of the credit should go to the Fosters, who never relented and carried the lion'sshare of the effort.

They even got Vice Mayor Fairclough to turn and demand bodycams. Bet that pissed all over Rolle's cheerios.
