He was a good Secretary and kept us relevant and working during the pandemic. ABT was in the forefront for the first time in decades and everyone knew we did a great job. That was do in no small part to the SEC, DEP SEC, COS, DIR, DET DIR, CHIEF! DEP CHIEF and MAJOR? We have a great team and we should be thankful. But we are not. We want to criticize and condemn the very people that help us survive. Sad.

Obviously you work at or are a direct suck piece to the puzzle palace. You couldn't be more wrong! We were not relevant and most of the local PD and SO's were unhappy with the job we did during the shut down. Our hands were tied out in the field and all we did was "visit" locations. Very few places actually got shut down, so the locals took matters into their own hands. If anything, we hurt ourselves more when locals SO's and PD's looked to us for help. Giving them the company line of "that's your attorney's decision how to enforce the orders, we're just educating".

If anyone made ABT relevant it was the field agents actually humping from place to place. Even the ISII's the current command staff hail as heroes were useless(make sure that license is posted!) All Sparktard and JW did was report numbers and second guess everything we did. All of that with spreadsheets and short lived phone apps so they could thump their own chests to the secretary and governor then take credit for it.

The only people helping this place survive are the agents and we are the ones being demonized. What a joke our leadership is!

I don't think anyone is being "demonized" as you say. I think it is more accurate to say you don't need a badge or gun to do our primary mission. If you read closely the FFP document you will see our primary mission is inspections.
50 years ago it was moonshine. The world has changed. The question is are you changing with it?

No sir. I am riding the sworn ship until it sinks. When HQ stops starts telling the truth as to what their plans are, then maybe we will change. We know their game now. At least we can sit back, laugh, and enjoy the show while it lasts! Plus we got another free week of training out of it!

I stood in a meeting with the local bar owners as two sheriffs and three police chiefs chastised the governor on how our department sucks. That right there speaks for how we ha fled the pandemic. Majors? Good god. CPC was the worse person in leadership in 20 years. Thank god she’s gone.

The free virtual training was easy and we didn’t even have to sleep in the dirty covid dorms like the other suckers. This place is really looking up.
