Found the troll. That unit is so bad and so improperly run their leadership needs to be investigated. A lot of really bad stuff happening out there right now.

The people there have connections. That's how they got there and how they stay there. Nothing will happen to them because they are protected.

You got MEL because you sucked Bob's wiener. Nobody can stand insufferable boot lickers like you.

So how many CFS per shift on a normal day would you respond to?

Where I currently work it depends on the area. Some places it's 10-15 during an 8 hour afternoon shift and other places it's 2-6.

Also I'm told if you want to work in FL, go with a Sheriff's office. But PCSO doesn't have a union do they? Us from up north can't imagine something like that. Is it really doom and gloom without one?

Go with a PD with a good union. The SO's will screw you over. Tampa PD has much better retirement and pay. Same with Clearwater. All SO's are on Florida Retirement System (FRS) which makes cops do 30 years!! Look for some of the cities that have good pay and union with 20 years and out!! Tampa PD has 20 years and out and makes a boat load more.

Good luck to all who enter this career. It’s all about politics and not embarrassing the boss.

Agree, here we have FRS which is 30 years and out with no retirement COLA. What you end up in pension stays the same until you die or your spouse dies. It's a crappy retirement compared to SPPD, TPD, etc who are 20 and out with pension COLA.
