A lot. Probably over a million.

It's a good idea to always check behind you when you back up.

It's also a good idea not to walk on a main road while drunk.

Any judge with half a brain will throw out the lawsuit (if there will be one). The drunk was clearly at fault and the SA will confirm that.

The guy left a place of safety (sidewalk, parking lot etc), wasn’t in a crosswalk and walked behind a fully marked police vehicle with its emergency equipment activated. Try researching pedestrian violations before submitting your ignorant response.

Why don’t you try and research who has the right away. Even if his emergency lights were operating he still has an obligation to Obey all traffic laws. There is a video you know. Backing up at high speeds against the flow of traffic is not exactly prudent. But since you think you know everything we shall see. I say it’s settled out of court for several million dollars.

If there was only a law that allows law enforcement to break traffic laws when their emergency equipment is activated. Ohhhhhh wait there is.
