Chip don’t make us regret pulling together. You made MANY promises to handle problem. Giving Mindy a swift talking to wont help. She committed a crime with Eric and Both should be dealt with. Maybe you don’t fire them but let them have some of the punishment they thought was fair for wrongdoing.

Suspend each of them for 30 days
    Demote back to deputy sheriff
Put them on a shift like evenings or midnights

This is acceptable in their eyes and not unfair. When am employee come back from an extended illness Haines sent the employee straight to midnights. Haines thought they should prove themselves again And show they’re have value. Haines never did but look where he went with the idiot. Giving Haines his own medicine is not wrong. In fact he has set the past practice. Haines is the easiest to get gone. Just use his rules to apply to him.

Don’t be a puss about this and claim you are going to try and sing campfire songs and show the creations the way. They are evil liars that will never change.

What you are suggesting would be wrong. Arbitrarily suspending, demoting, or otherwise punishing someone for something without a full and impartial investigation, a real investigation would be wrong. This is what so many have been on here rallying about. Even those that you mentioned who have definitely appeared to have done real wrong and broken regs and laws are afforded due process, just as those who were apparently done wrong by them. Doing the same to them that was done to others is not coherent or sensible. Especially if you are calling for them to be punished for punishing others to harshly, without due process, and making unethical decisions on their own investigations, etc. If CS did start out that way, then THAT would be a signal of continuing the past and trouble in the future. If he chooses to remove these contract employees from their posts, then he will, but outright punishment without due process is wrong. He's been sworn in for roughly a day now. Nothing happens overnight. Chill, and dump the vicious attitude and narrative please.

They should be investigated. Stop the ....it would be the same if Chip just punished people......it is the same to allow the people you are defending to harm so many without any action. Chip didn’t correct anything he didnt stop people from continuing to be harmed. So you are really saying that chip can’t do anything and just understand that the “due process” must be allowed. What about all the ones that were denied “due process” and can’t just move on? Are you saying just employees of the sheriffs office can’t get justice because of virtue signaling of Chip? Are all criminals in Escambia County getting that benefit? It sounds like the only criminals that are benefiting are the same ones that benefitted under Morgan. Did investigations give all suspects a clean slate? We are barely a day into the swearing in ceremony and so many people already regret what we will be seeing for the next four years.

Chip I guess will make sure the victims of Morgan will remain victims because the suspects won’t pay. Disappointed to say the least. Chip you could be better than just another guy trying to be popular. Your agency is in shambles and you are doing you best to not rock a boat that should have been sunk years ago. Stand up!!!!!!!

What I'm saying is that it has to stop somewhere at some point. Why not now? New sheriff. New day. Why not stop the shenanigans? If chip were to continue what has been done, he would be CONTINUING the very wrongs you speak of. Im not saying he shouldn't take action, but he needs to make sure its the proper and just action and done correctly. If it can't be done righteously, then it shouldn't be taken. Again, its been a day of office for the man. Give him some time.

Not renewing a contract isn’t punishment. They knew when they signed it it was a contract and they could be let go at any time. It’s good business. Take over, clean slate, start a new admin. Now instead of firing he can choose to keep at previous rank before contract but he really shouldn’t.

Geez, it's been 3 days since his swearing-in, calm down Leroy Jenkins, and give the man time to process the changes. I'm sure many changes are coming within the near future, some you may agree or disagree with but at the end of the day, not everyone will be happy.

I don't foresee firings but I do anticipate some moving around and maybe some changes to the discipline process. Give the man some time.

The worst part is he lies about his plans and now he is in there. Everyone I spoke to in the city said he would say what he wants to make people like him. He then does what he want and be damned with you. Seems so. He hasn’t fixed any employee issues but he did employee a campaign manager, his brother, girlfriend and best friend. Maybe he is different like he says. Bullshit!

Exactly who was he supposed to employ as his campaign team? Family and friends sound like a good choice to me. It was HIS campaign after all. He can run it as he sees fit. Now that he is an elected official, things will need to take a more non-conflict of interest stance, and he has shown no indication that he won't walk the straight and narrow. As good as he is, chip is no miracle worker. Things won't change overnight. So you're butt hurt he hasn't fired those whom you oppose upstairs. Get over it. He won't be able to please every person at once.

Nobody said anything about his campaign. It was commented that he only looked out for people in his campaign. Ease up Andy. The buffet will open soon. You cuck.
